What we collect
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply and to fix any issue you raise. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Your cookie choice. We store whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. This stays on your device.
- Optional analytics. Only if you click Accept, we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Server logs. Our hosting and content delivery providers keep short-term technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
We do not have accounts, sign-up forms, comments or newsletters, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed to deal with a correction or complaint. Hosting logs are kept by our providers for a limited period in line with their own policies.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help run the site (hosting, content delivery, email) under contracts that protect it, or where the law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email us to use any of these rights. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
